Not so long ago, we celebrated Ysa's ( our househelp's daughter ) Christening. Time flies so fast, now we are celebrating her first birthday. ...and as a doting Tita, I prepared a rainbow themed birthday party.

Last Saturday, my best friend asked me to a movie date.... movie date with Kimmy Dora.

Ryan Bang's bangs caught me... Interesting bangs!

And on Sunday , after a session of pampering with my best friend, we watched Snow White and the Huntsman in our local cinema. I noticed, filmmakers nowadays are giving the traditionally known fairy tale a new face. It is perhaps giving opportunity for the adults to enjoy the story. In the classic tale, a brother of Snow White's stepmother wasn't mentioned. But the remake of the tale has introduced, Finn.

It seems to be that the movies are speaking to me and reminding me of something. I have been reminded that it's my sister's birthday today. :))

To my twin sister who is 6 years older than me, Happy Birthday! To my highly opinionated; fearless; very thoughtful; funny in a nice and intelligent way ; creative and truly an artist sister, thank you for always being there for me . Thank you for putting up with my bratty ways and for inspiring me to be creative.

Eleven People

I'd like to share a clever story that I've read years back.

" Eleven people were hanging on a rope, under a helicopter. Ten men and one woman. The rope was not strong enough to carry them all, so they decided that one had to leave, because, otherwise, they were all going to fall. They weren't able to choose that person, until the woman gave a very touching speech. She said that she would voluntarily let go of the rope, because, as a
woman, she was used to giving up everything for her husband and kids or for men in general, and was used to always making sacrifices with little in return. As soon as she finished her speech,
all the men started clapping. "

They say it's a man's world and life is tough for women. But hey! Never underestimate a woman. Behind that weak, shy, sweet and gooey facade lies a brave, strong and clever character. Be afraid. Be very afraid!
