The Versatile Blogger Award

I got an award! The last time I got an award was way back in high school when I received a loyalty award. :)) Thank you Lil Divine for this one big surprise, I didn't expect this. ... and to my fellow awardees, Congratulations!

The rules of this award are the following:
1. Thank the blogger who gave you the award. Don't forget to link his/her blog.
2. Post 7 random things about you.
3. Give the award to 15 other bloggers you love and let them know you gave them this award.

Good thing I have thought about this a long time ago when I posted my "31 Truths About Tatum" blog post years ago. So, I copied and pasted most of it for the 7 Random things about me. Easy as eating peanuts! :)) ... but for the 15 bloggers, that's a lot! I only know and follow a few. So if you're one of the few bloggers i know, you're pretty special.

7 Random things about me:

1. I'm a cry baby. I even cry at commercials.
2. I love Christmas. Decorating as early as November and getting it off on the feast of the three Kings or the Chinese New Year makes it the longest season for me.
3. Clowns and mascots give me the creeps. It freaks me out. Behind that happy face facade is a mysterious, evil and creepy creature.
4. I hate ants. Killing spree with ants is so therapeutic for me.
5. My sister tells me, I eat icing on the cake like no other. I'm leaving it to your imagination.
6. I always thought that I can get good-piano-playing syndrome if I go with my brother wherever he goes when I was young.
7. I can be loud! I burp like a truck driver. I snore like a drunk and I fart louder and deadlier than Shrek. Take that!

... And the Versatile Blogger Award goes to :

Pet Lobster or is it?

Hello! It's been a while since my last blog. I'm having a dilemma here. I got myself a pet lobster. The store says it's a lobster and it's going to grow big in time. But is it really a lobster?
( I'm sorry about the photo. My camera's been stolen, so i have to put up with my camera phone. )

What does it mean to have a pet lobster? Does it matter in feng shui?

Should i take him for a walk? By the way, it's a he as the store owner says it is. ... Meet Barnabas!

I'll stab you with a spoon.

Back in the 90's, when I was a freshman in high school, I used to watch Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. It was one of my favorite films. When I say favorite , I mean ....
- I would watch it over and over, more than twice a day.
- I memorized all the lines.
- I would know what's the next scene.
- I know the actors and actresses' names.
- NO one can touch the VHS when I'm using it. By the way, VHS was the dominant home video player during the 90's.
- ...and to the point that I planned to get a custom made replica of Robin Hood's necklace.

Kevin Costner played as Robin Hood who was so hot back then and until now. I hate to admit this but I guess, men do age better. Together with him was Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio, Christian Slater, Alan Rickman, the outstanding Morgan Freeman and a lot more. It was a combination of action, humor and love story.

For the hopeless romantic like me, who doesn't love the soundtrack?

One of the favorite lines in the film was when the Sheriff of Nottingham said that he'll cut out Robin Hood's heart with a spoon and his cousin asked, "Why a spoon, cousin? Why not an axe?". ...and the Sheriff replied, "Because it's DULL, you twit. It'll hurt more."

Until now, I would want to stab someone I hated with a spoon.
