All I Want For Christmas

I wasn't tagged or anything by anyone to make a post of " All I Want For Christmas"  , I was just inspired by my sister Lily of Thinking Out Loud 's post to make a list of my own. In this way I get to figure out what I really want and somehow people who needs to hear this will get the point. Har! Har! Har!

Hmmmm ... It says "Share the top six items on my wish list. ". I never knew this would be darn hard. It's like that moment when someone asks you to tell more about yourself, and you're like : " Oh God, who am I? ".  I sure have a lot in mind but it's the rating on who gets to the top chart that makes it tough.

Anyway, Christmas is fast approaching and I need to make the list.

All I want for Christmas is:

1. I want to get my baby repaired.
It has been a very very long while since I played this piano after we've been conned by a piano repair man. Strings need to be replaced and a lot of tuning to do. It's a bit costly and I intend to travel next year, so perhaps this can come true on next Christmas or two.

2. A new watch , a new watch and a new watch. I like it gold, silver, black, or white. I always like it big and beautiful!
1. MK watches silver chronograph runway 2. MK watches black runway  3. MK two tone stainless steel 4. MK Champaigne dial Horn Acrylic Ladies Watch
The brand doesn't matter much , it's the style that caught my eye first. But I wouldn't mind getting a Michael Kors watch. *wink

3. Cycling apparel. Now that I'm into biking or cycling, I'd like to look good when I'm on the road

Cycling Apparel for Women at Amazon

4. ((( CHOCOLATES )))

5. Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain ; make-ups and make-up brushes

6.Pretty gift wraps, bags and colorful cartolinas . I don't know why but I've always been fond of collecting them. It simply brings smile to my face.

7.   Jewelry
9.   Bags and shoes
10. Bubble machine
11. I want my car pimped
12. A new oven.
13. Twinkies , Devil dogs
14. Cricut machine
15. Wall paint so I can start repainting the house myself
16. Fabric for new curtains, sheets and dresses
17. Ca$h and the list goes on and on....

.... Truly once ideas pop, you can't stop.

Your turn!

Ice Giants

After an all night long strolling and picture taking at Jack's Ridge, it's about time to chow down. My nieces and nephews brought me to Ice Giants. On a cold November night, we had icy desserts.

We were greeted by an inflatable snowman
Before the blitz.
Boys next table digging a bucket of pop corn.
3 kilos Chocolate Titans dessert good for 5 persons or more. Finely shaved ice topped with scoops of ice cream, choco fudge brownies, chocolate chips, chocolate wafer sticks, chocolate syrups and loads of chocolate fun fillings.
French fries platter. I don't dig the Australian flag but the twister fries tastes good.
We didn't get enough of the first bowl so we ordered for a second one. This time , it's Gigantic Halo-halo filled with the usual halo-halo ingredients. The staff's jaw dropped after we took the second order.
Glutted and chilled.

Service was good. The place was colorful, brightly lit and clean. I just wish that the interior would look like an igloo with staffs looking like eskimos.

My November

November wasn't so good to me. The family lost two of our loved ones, our Nanay ( my aunt ) and in less than a month, her son followed. Everyone in the family felt the gloom. Despite of the bad fortune, we find comfort in the thought that they are now reunited and that two new angels are watching over the family.

When someone dies, family and friends come together to lament and to celebrate the life of the departed. It is a moment to share the memories and an opportunity to get a family reunion. My trip to Davao was a bittersweet experience. I went there for the wake and interment , and at the same time I get to be reunited with my family that I haven't spent time with for the longest time. Everyone was very warm and hospitable. Truly, family is where the heart is.

After the interment , they showed me around Davao City. It was a blast!

Welcome to Jack's Ridge, located at one of the high peaks of the city.
Replica of a Japanese plane that crashed during the war.

Looking over a memorial park.
This one looks like and arena of the olden days. I wouldn't mind getting married here.  * wink

Nice Surprise

Just when I arrived from a trip to Davao , I saw a notice from the post office on the refrigerator door. I wasn't expecting any parcel coming. It couldn't be from any of my sisters or brother because they always tell me beforehand if they had sent me something. Who could it be from?  I completely had no idea.

I went to the post office and they handed me this: COLOR ME HAPPY AND SURPRISED !

My sister-in-law together with my niece cooked-up for this surprise. Thank you so much! And to my brother, thanks to you too(*wink) . It's about time to get dolled-up for the holiday season.

Upcycling is the New Thing

Because I'll be going on a trip  tomorrow, I thought of making myself a travel toiletry holder  rather than buying at the department store to save money, and for the satisfaction of making one. I used our old kitchen towel and sewed to make pockets.

TUH-DAH ! Satisfaction at its best!
